Privacy policy

This policy explains what the Two Koi Designs website (2kd.ninja) collects, why, and what we do with it. Two Koi Designs is a Nomad Ventures, LLC company. Our client portal and store (2kd.ninja/ninja/) is covered by the privacy notice shown inside the portal.

What we collect

• Contact form: your first and last name, email address, mobile number if you give it, the services you're interested in, your message, and the page you sent it from.
• Domain search: the name you type, so we can check whether it's available. We keep searches for up to 10 minutes to speed up repeat searches, then they're deleted. We don't link searches to you.
• Spam protection: a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, kept for up to one hour, to stop repeated automated messages and searches.
• Analytics: we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It records things like the pages you view, your approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived. Google Analytics sets cookies for this. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on.
• Server logs: like every website, our hosting server keeps standard logs (IP address, pages requested, time) for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

To answer your message, prepare a quote, check domain availability, keep the site secure, and improve the site. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't add you to a mailing list from the contact form.

Where it goes

Contact form messages are emailed to the Two Koi team's mailboxes on our own hosting server. Domain availability checks go to our own client portal (WHMCS) and, through it, to the domain registry. Analytics data is processed by Google. If you buy a service, you do that in our client portal, under its own terms and privacy notice.

Cookies

The public pages use Google Analytics cookies only. The site's team login uses one essential cookie, set only for people who sign in to manage the site.

How long we keep it

Contact messages stay in our mailboxes for as long as we need them to work with you. Spam-protection data is deleted within one hour. Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information you sent us. Use the contact form and say what you'd like. We'll respond within 30 days.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and isn't directed at children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
